Students in Ms. Meisel’s class at Lakeville School recently delivered a donation of new books for young patients at the Cohen Children’s Medical Center in New Hyde Park.

Patricia Ottaviano, a child life specialist at the medical center, spoke with students about the importance of brand new books because the immune systems of the patients are so compromised due to their illnesses.
