The John F. Kennedy School welcomed students and staff from the Henry Viscardi School to meet with fourth and fifth graders on May 8.
The Viscardi School is an accredited model school for children with severe physical disabilities in grades Pre-K through 12.
Viscardi Student Ambassadors presented about their lives, experiences, and the ways in which they have—and continue to—overcome challenges.
Kennedy School students were inspired by their stories and learned that while we all are different and unique in our own way, we share similar experiences and can learn from one another.
