Herricks High School congratulates senior baseball player Matthew Yip for
being voted All-State Second Team by the New York State Sportswriters Association.
Matthew is a member of the varsity baseball team at Herricks and is committed to
continue the sport at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington next year.
His All-State selection comes as a result of his impressive stats, which include batting
.458 with seven home runs.
