Programs include the Adult Learning Center Awards Ceremony, North Middle Spotlight, Village School Graduation, South High Spotlight, and Celebrating Dr. Teresa Prendergast.
GNPS/TV programs are available on demand, 24/7, on the school district website

of Great Neck on Optimum Channel 75 and on Verizon Fios Channel 32.

Adult Learning Center Awards Ceremony
The Great Neck Adult Learning Center celebrated its fifty-first annual awards ceremony on June 11. The event recognized program participants who earned a New York State High School Equivalency Diploma, met benchmarks for English language proficiency, and demonstrated a commitment to learning through outstanding attendance.

North Middle Spotlight
This episode of North Middle Spotlight offers highlights from the Multicultural Heritage Celebration, First Day of School, Achilles Marathon, Relay Field Day, Halloween, Cupcake Wars and a montage from the musical production of The Wizard of Oz.
North Middle Spotlight airs at 7:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
Village School Graduation
Tune in to GNPS/TV to celebrate the Village School Class of 2024 and relive the excitement from this year’s graduation ceremony.

South High Spotlight
This episode of South High Spotlight features highlights from events such as Coffee House, Rebel War, Fashion Show, Club Fair, Music Night, Car Show and a montage from the musical production of The Addams Family.

Celebrating Dr. Teresa Prendergast
On May 29, the Great Neck Public Schools hosted a special event to celebrate the life and legacy of former Superintendent Teresa B. Prendergast.
Prendergast joined the District as superintendent in 2015 and faithfully served the school community for eight years until her tragic passing on June 10, 2023.
This memorial event included the dedication of the South High School baseball field in Prendergast’s honor, followed by a friendly three-inning exhibition softball game—North faculty versus South faculty—to officially christen Prendergast Memorial Field.
