Glenwood Landing second graders study environmental issues

(Photo courtesy of North Shore schools)

Second graders in the North Shore Central School District kicked off the field research study by visiting Tappan Beach, exploring balance at the seashore, and cleaning up a total of about 80 pounds of garbage in one day.

They also made posters and had an “ecosystem gallery walk.”
