In honor of Thanksgiving, John Lewis Childs School’s Student Council hosted their annual food drive for Ronald McDonald House Charities.

This year, each grade-level was assigned a specific item to donate, including food and toiletries. On Nov. 21, Student Council members, along with advisor Julie Lafferty, dropped off the collected items to the Ronald McDonald House in New Hyde Park. The school donated approximately $1,000 worth of items.
