Floral Park-Bellerose School’s Don’t Press Send Club hosted a Spirit Week, from Dec. 4-8, to encourage kindness and internet safety.

To kick off Spirit Week, students throughout the building were encouraged to restart their week with Comfy PJ Day. On Tuesday, students wore school colors or their favorite sports jersey to Team Up Against Bullying. On Wednesday, students wore mismatched outfits and different colors for Mix Match Day. On Thursday, students wore vacation merch to “take a break away from the internet.” Spirit Week concluded with Positivity Day on Friday, with students wearing positive words on their clothing.

Don’t Press Send Club, which is new this school year, is advised by sixth grade teacher Caitlyn Pereira. Members of the club helped to come up with the themed days and also created posters throughout the building to promote positivity and safety online.
