Floral Park-Bellerose School hosted its inaugural Career Day on May 31. Family members of students volunteered to discuss their respective careers. For students in pre-K through third grade, the parents/family members visited the classrooms to present on their jobs, while students in fourth through sixth grade attended the Career Fair in the gymnasium.

Some occupations represented included attorney, detective, nonfiction children’s book editor, journalist/television news producer, speech language pathologist, architect for NYC parks, ophthalmology research manager and social worker, among others.
