E.M. Baker students send colorful well wishes

Third graders at E.M. Baker School used their STEAM skills to create 3D-printed crayon containers with “get well” messages for young patients at a local hospital.

Students worked in teams to develop both 2D and 3D models of their crayon containers. Using the design process, students evaluated their models and implemented changes to improve upon their containers.

The containers were filled with crayons donated by the Baker PTO and delivered to St. Mary’s Children’s Hospital.
