Blossoming creativity at Roslyn High School

Roslyn High School students created magazine flower collages, inspired by Japanese artist Takashi Murakami.

Murakami’s fascination with flowers led to the creation of joyful smiley blooms, which have made a global mark in pop culture and fashion.

“Students did an amazing job learning about Murakami’s famous flowers while incorporating the color wheel,” art teacher Raymie Tand said.
