Roslyn School District hosted their 6th annual INCubator Pitch Night at Roslyn Middle School on the evening of Monday, May 20, 2024. The evening is a culmination of a year-long process where high school teams develop a business plan, fine tune their presentation skills, and pitch their idea to the “Roslyn Sharks.”
First place went to the creators of FurMetrics, a fitbit to track a dog’s health—created by Sophie Glass, Josh Kaftol, Jordan Roth, Hannah Sur, and Benji Weinberger, mentored by Arthur Mosh.
Second place went to RideSync, a visual schedule to simplify, share, and streamline the carpooling process—created by Ria Budhrani, Maya Burko, Jonathan Farber, Zachary Mashaal, Abraham Nam, mentored by Cathy Goodman.
Third place was awarded to BusTrackr providing real-time updates and notifications for school bus location, arrival, and drop-off times—created by Tanishka Kumar, Diana Santos, Ethan Yedvab, Aidan Yu, and Chelsea Zarkin, mentored by Jessica McHugh. Click here to watch the event.
