Several acts of vandalism at Roslyn High School are being investigated, principal Scott Andrews announced Thursday afternoon in an email.
Andrews said vandals damaged hand dryers as well as destroyed paper towel dispensers, soap dispensers and stall support bars in Roslyn High School bathrooms.
“This is a matter of great distress,” said Andrews. “Roslyn High School prides itself on respect, both for others and our beautiful school building and campus.”
The administration and security are investigating the situation. Andrews said any students found accountable may face out-of-school suspension and payment for replacing or repairing the vandalized items.
“This type of destructive behavior is distressing for our students and our staff, and is very costly and disruptive,” he said. “We expect all of our students to act responsibly and in accordance with our code of conduct.”
