Parts of Old Northern Boulevard in roslyn to close next week for Apple Studios series filming

Parts of Old Northern Boulevard in Roslyn will be closed on March 28 and 29 due to filming for Brass Tactics, produced by Apple Studios.

Interior scenes of Trinity Episcopal Church on 1579 Northern Boulevard will also be shot on  Tuesday.

“No Parking” flyers have been hung up on Old Northern Boulevard ahead of the two-day shoot according to show officials.

On Monday, prep work will be done at the church and Old Northern Boulevard intersections of Tower Place and East Broadway from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Crews for each site will be between 5 to 20 workers.

Filming Tuesday will include a morning shoot inside the church from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. with approximately 80 to 100 members before a late afternoon shoot from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. for exterior scenes at Tower Place.

The Nassau County Police Department will help with traffic. That night from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. scenes are expected to be filmed on East Broadway with 80 to 100 crew members.

Streets and the church will be restored to their original form on Wednesday, March 30 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Old Northern Blvd. is a Nassau County, not Village of Roslyn, road. The Village of Roslyn was not involved in closing the boulevard but charged a $9,000 filming fee.

Parking on the affected stretch of Old North Blvd. will be extremely limited and local businesses have been notified of filming, according to the show’s location manager.

Brass Tactics is a drama set in the year 2002, according to Backstage.
