Mineola students selected for National Honor Society 6×6 Collaborative Exhibit at Heckscher Museum of Art

Mineola School District is proud to congratulate to our seventh and eighth grade National Junior Art Honor Society learners who were featured at the 10th annual National Art Honor Society 6×6 Collaborative Exhibit held at Heckscher Museum of Art on April 11.

This is the first time that NJAHS members from Mineola High School and Mineola Middle School have been invited to join student artists from throughout Long Island for this exciting art collaboration.

Mineola Middle School seventh grade NJAHS members: Penny Ambrose, Adrienne Cabutin, Ryan Elqorchi, Prashasti Huliya, Amaya Matos, Alex McCarthy, Sophia Meola, Alex Monsalvo Rodrigues, Ariya Patel, Peter Ruyle, Christian Wharton and Nicki Zhang.

Mineola High School eighth grade NJAHS members: Brooke Conlin, Alysa Curiel, Stephanie Hernandez, Hailey Meyer, Tatiana Molina, Devan Parekh, Michael Perro, Joanna Peitler and Hayet Reyes Reyes.

The district is grateful to art teachers and NJAHS advisors Ms. Antonelli and Ms. Lapertosa for their guidance and support of these talented learners and for their efforts that made this opportunity possible.
