A 91-year-old man is currently in critical decision following a hit-and-run in Roslyn Heights Monday evening, Nassau County Police said.

At approximately 5:12 p.m., the victim was crossing Mineola Avenue in the vicinity of Hillside Avenue when he was hit by a dark-colored SUV traveling northbound, police said.

The man suffered severe trauma and was transported to a local hospital where he remains in critical condition.
