Supervisor Judi Bosworth, Council Members Peter Zuckerman, Anna Kaplan, Dina De Giorgio and Lee Seeman, Town Clerk Wayne Wink and Receiver of Taxes Charles Berman attended the Chilean Independence Festival at North Hempstead Beach Park on Sept. 16.
The celebration, which is hosted by the Chilean-American Sports Cultural Committee of New York, featured games, Chilean food, artists, music and more.
Town officials recognized and presented citations to three artists and teachers who were visiting from Chile: Viviana Trigo, Vicki Martínez and Enedita Román.
