North Hempstead Town Supervisor Judi Bosworth along with Council Members Viviana Russell, Peter Zuckerman, Anna Kaplan, Lee Seeman and Town Clerk Wayne Wink and Receiver of Taxes Charles Berman welcomed hundreds of attendees to North Hempstead Beach Park on Aug. 18 as the Town held its 5th Annual BeachFeast celebration.
Visitors enjoyed food from Yummy Gyro, Green Street Food Truck, Long Island Festival Caterer, Lenny’s Twistee Freeze, Rosie’s Grilled Cheese Truck and Mr. Smith’s Seafood, as well as beer and wine. Music included The Driftwoods, a tribute to the Beach Boys.
The event also had activities for the entire family including a classic car show along the boardwalk, a photo booth, lawn games and a game truck.
