At the Museum of American Armor’s 2019 Award Gala on March 1, Nassau County Comptroller Jack Schnirman was presented with the Veterans Advocacy Award. New York state Sen. John Brooks presented Schnirman with the award, recognizing the work the comptroller’s office has done advocating for veterans, including releasing a Veterans Policy Awareness and Advocacy Issue Brief the week of Veterans Day in November 2018.
