Only in Larry Penner’s Bizarre Universe can Earth Day and White Castle coexist. Only in Larry Penner’s Bizarre Universe does Larry Penner encourage us to be good stewards of the environment yet at the same time encourage us to eat factory-farmed meat which causes major environmental degradation.
I urge my Suffolk, Nassau, and Queens neighbors to go to the website People For the Ethical Treatment of Animals to view what poor animals and the environment suffer to make Mr. Penner’s White Castles.
I am not perfect but I am trying. I love bacon and sausage but eat oatmeal for breakfast. My lunch is almost exclusively salads and grains. And more importantly, I don’t write the newspapers on Earth Day while at the same time encouraging culinary degradation of the environment.
