Yet another edition of Larry Penner’s Bizarre Universe, FTA Grants Style.

Mr. Penner in his endless soapbox ranting fails to mention the FTA has published a grant availability for expansion of the 2nd Ave subway. This is because Mr. Penner has time and time again pontificated against the 2nd Ave. subway. He cites the low ridership as his justification.

Mr. Penner is absolutely entitled to his opinion about the 2nd Ave. subway, and it may very well be justified. But if Mr. Penner cared about the whole truth, as opposed to his insatiable desire to see his name in print, he would mention grants for projects he is against as well. The whole truth is not a part of Mr. Penner’s Bizarre Universe.

Mr. Penner mentions the president of Metro North. Her name is spelled “Rinaldi,” as opposed to Mr. Penner’s spelling, “Renaldi.” Since Mr. Penner fancies himself a writer, he might wish to fact check. But fact checking is simply not a part of Larry Penner’s Bizarre Universe.
