Author Paul Grondahl will discuss his book, “I Rose Like a Rocket: The Political Education of Theodore Roosevelt,” about Roosevelt’s early political apprenticeship as legislator and governor in the state capital of Albany.

The event, presented by The Friends of Sagamore Hill, is on on Thursday, May 16 at 7 p.m. The presentation is free and open to the public and will take place at the Christ Church Parish Hall, 61 East Main St. in Oyster Bay. Free refreshments will be served.
