The Town of North Hempstead recently announced the premiere of a new virtual tour of Clark Botanic Garden in Albertson. This comes as part of a slew of new virtual programming in the town’s Community Services and Parks departments.
“The Clark Botanic Garden virtual tour is part of our ongoing effort to bring our residents the resources they would typically have access to during this continued period of social distancing,” said North Hempstead Supervisor Bosworth. “I am thrilled that residents will have a chance to view our beautiful park, and I thank the dedicated staff at Clark Botanic Garden for keeping it so well maintained.”
The virtual tour is given by Glenn Aldridge, the Education Director of Clark Botanic Garden. The tour includes a walk down tulip avenue, a history of the Clark family, a history of the Clark house and property, a tour of the Clark house library, a view of the Clark Botanic Garden oak tree, a discussion of the Clark bee yard apiary, a discussion of the Clark Botanic Garden pond, and leaves you with a beautiful view of one of Clark’s many Royal Azeleas.
Residents are encouraged to view the virtual tour at the following YouTube link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9U6vhkb9ueg

I think for a person who loves plants, this is already like a holiday. My mother likes to update her garden with new plants for the season, it’s a real pleasure for her. Here is a great variety of flowers and plants, everyone can choose something for themselves.
