Town of North Hempstead Supervisor Judi Bosworth, Council Member Peter Zuckerman along with Town Clerk Wayne Wink and Receiver of Taxes Charles Berman attended a rededication ceremony for the Horse Tamer statue at Roslyn High School on Oct. 10. The restoration effort began in 2012 and over $150,000 was raised to help restore the statue. The Horse Tamer is part of a pair of sculptures. The sister statue was returned to North Hempstead’s Gerry Pond Park in Roslyn in 2013.
