Town of North Hempstead Supervisor Judi Bosworth was accompanied by Council Members Peter Zuckerman and Veronica Lurvey at Hicksville’s India Day parade on Aug. 4.
The local India Day Parade is organized by the India Day Parade of the United States of America committee to celebrate pride, passion and unity. Every year the India Day parade brings diverse communities together allowing for unity between region, religion, language, politics and customs.
