On Friday and Saturday, April 12 and 13, The Alvernian Drama Society of St. Francis Preparatory School will be presenting the Disney classic “The Little Mermaid.” There are a wide variety of students involved, whether they are enrolled in performing arts classes, or the broader school community. On Thursday, the 11th, the Drama Society will perform for invited intermediate and junior high schools to help build bridges via the arts. The production is overseen by long-time performing arts teacher, Donna Mejia.
Tickets are $6 for students and $12 for adults. Fridays’ show will begin at 8 p.m., while Saturday’s is at 7 p.m. The show will be presented in Prep’s Brother Ralph Clifford, O.S.F. Memorial Auditorium. Street parking is available. St. Francis Prep is located at 6100 Francis Lewis Boulevard in Fresh Meadows.
