The upcoming photography exhibition, The Mirror of the Soul by gallery artist Denis Ostrovskiy, will be on view at fotofoto gallery from July 3 to 27.
The solo exhibition of two canvasses and 15 large photographs engages the viewer through a razor sharp focus on the eyes of leopards, wild dogs, lions and elephants.
What are we to them? Do they look at us or through us? Are we prey, a menace or a curiosity to them?
Ostrovskiy will be available to discuss his work at an Artist’s Reception on Saturday, July 6, from 5 to 7 p.m.
Fotofoto gallery is located at 14 West Carver St. in Huntington. Gallery hours are Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday, 12 to 6 p.m.; Friday, 12 to 8 p.m.; and Sunday, 1 to 5 p.m. For more information, call 631-549-0448.
