New Hyde Park-Garden City Park School District is currently looking for community volunteers/retirees for one or two hours a week.
You will be assisting students under the supervision of a classroom teacher. There is no prior experience necessary to participate in the program. Volunteers do a variety of activities with children such as reading to students or helping with classroom projects.
