Subject to approval of grant funding by New York State, residents of New Hyde Park-Garden City Park School District with an eligible child of age 4 by Dec. 1, 2020, may apply for free half-day pre-kindergarten classes for 2020- 2021 school year.
Applications are available on our website www.nhp-gcp.org. Application forms must be received no later than Friday, Jan. 31, 2020. Selection will be done by lottery on Friday, February 7, 2020, at 9:00 a.m., in the Board Room at 1950 Hillside Ave., New Hyde Park. Parents may attend the lottery on Feb. 7, but it is not mandatory.
