The Long Island Baroque Ensemble will present its 49th annual concerts in celebration of the birthday of J.S. Bach on Saturday, March 9 at 7:30 p.m. in St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church, 30 Brooksite Drive in Smithtown, and at 3 p.m. in Christ Church, 61 East Main St. in Oyster Bay.
The program will also be a commemoration of the group’s founder, Sonia Gezairlian Grib, who passed away in March 2018. Among the performers for the special occasion will be Arthur Haas, a distinguished harpsichordist who was Grib’s professor when she studied for her masters degree at SUNY Stony Brook.
