GN community Park District Bruins Squirts win LIAHL Championship

North Hempstead Town Supervisor Judi Bosworth (not pictured) and Councilwomen Lee Seeman (District 5) and Veronica Lurvey (District 4), North Hempstead Town Clerk Wayne Wink and Great Neck Park District Superintendent Jason R. Marra were in attendance as were Great Neck Park District Commissioners Robert A. Lincoln, Jr., Frank S. Cilluffo and Tina M. Stellato.

On Wednesday, April 3, the Great Neck Park District’s Bruins Squirts (ages 10U) hockey team was honored by the Town of North Hempstead for winning their division of the Long Island Amateur Hockey League (LIAHL) 2018-19 Championships.

The teammates and coaches each received a Certificate of Recognition, Achievement and Appreciation.
