The Congregational Church of Manhasset and the Church of Our Saviour, Lutheran welcomed “Fester” the donkey to help both congregations begin Holy Week observances on Palm Sunday. The two faith communities gather annually to begin the week in joint processional worship to mark the triumphant entrance of Jesus into Jerusalem.
