John D’Urso, President of the Long Island Federation of Labor, addressed members of the Lutheran Church of Our Saviour in Manhasset as part of its Lenten “Sacrifice and Serve” speaker series on March 24. D’Urso was thanked by choir members Caitlyn DiGia, Nicole Sciarrino and Ashley Huber, all students at Manhasset High School, for speaking about the importance of the labor movement in supporting communities.
