State Assemblyman Anthony D’Urso recently helped to clean the beach at Manorhaven.
The beach cleaning was sponsored by the Northeast Chapter American Littoral Society and supported by the Manhasset Bay Protection Committee. They provided gloves, trash bags, drinks and snacks for the volunteers who came to clean.
“I am glad that I and the other volunteers cleaned the beach to keep litter from getting into the bay which destroys natural habitats.” said D’Urso.
