Donna Gammarato helped found Pita Park, a family-owned Greek Restaurant on Tulip Avenue in 2012.
Combining her business acumen with her daughter and son-in-law’s culinary and food business experience, their restaurant has become a local favorite to Floral Park and the surrounding communities.
Gammarato and her husband have been residents of Floral Park for over 26 years where they raised their two daughters, Ashley & Brittany.
She is active in the community, serving on the Floral Park Chamber of Commerce Board, the Beautification Committee and chaired the 2016 Floral Park Chamber of Commerce Inaugural Christmas Festival.
Gammarato also a lector at Our Lady of Victory Church and supports many of the local charities and events.
She was recently honored as the Floral Park Chamber of Commerce’s businessperson of the year.
