Four Roslyn residents were honored on March 9, when Buckley Country Day School held its Winter Athletic Awards. The ceremony celebrated Buckley’s student-athletes for always giving it their all on the basketball court and exemplifying good sportsmanship.

Among the award winners were: Eighth-grader Filitsa Vasiliades, who was named the winner of the Buckley Bulldog for Sportsmanship Award for her team; Seventh-grader Kate Juhel, who was named as the Most Improved Player for her team, sixth-grader Sandhya Srinivasan, who was named Most Valuable Player of her team; and fifth-grader Sriram Srinivasan, who was named as the Most Improved Player for his team.
