On June 28, Assemblyman Anthony D’Urso joined the Cow Neck Peninsula Historical Society for its Antique Car Hill Climb and Car Show at Hempstead Harbor Beach Park in Port Washington. The event reimagined what was a popular event in the 1920s, ’30s, ’40s bringing together classic roadsters as the cars race up a hill in front an excited audience.
D’Urso said he was honored to attend the event, and called it a “joyous occasion that demonstrated a commitment to community engagement while celebrating what was a popular local pastime.”
