The next meeting of the AARP North Hempstead Volunteer Team will take place on Thursday, Feb. 21 at the Hillside Library, 155 Lakeville Road in New Hyde Park, in the second floor conference room.
Rebecca Kennedy Lakhani, executive director of The Book Fairies, will share the non-profit organization’s vision, goals and 2019 objectives with attending local AARP volunteer teams.
AARP volunteer teams are always looking for new members. Anyone thinking about making a contribution to the 50+ and general community through volunteer work is invited to attend without any obligation.
