
A Port Washington preteen was found Tuesday after going missing Monday night, according to the Nassau County Police Department’s Missing Persons Squad.
According to detectives, Isabella Ortega, 12, had last been seen leaving her Main Street residence around 9 p.m. She is described as a female Hispanic, 5-foot-4 and 160 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes, and she was reportedly last seen wearing a green T-shirt, jean shorts and black sandals. Her possible destination was unknown.
Her disappearance was reported to police around 2:50 a.m. Tuesday morning.
In the afternoon on Tuesday, police reported that Ortega had been found.
