A June 3 article in The Port Washington Times incorrectly stated that environmental lawyer Jon Brooks “threatened to sue the board depending on their decision to approve or deny the site plan.” According to a plaintiff in the suit, Brooks had already filed the lawsuit. The Nassau County Clerk received the suit at 7:08 p.m., the plaintiff said, and the Port North meeting began at 7:30 p.m. Brooks was actually threatening to serve the board with papers, the plaintiff said.
