Readers Write: We need to walk the walk for veterans

Despite all the rhetoric praising the sacrifice our Veterans have made serving our country, they continue to receive negligent and shoddy care at our V.A. hospitals.

The latest news reports have confirmed that 13 vets have died because of delayed treatment.  Some are forced to wait months to see a doctor.

Is it any wonder, that this year a record number of veterans will commit suicide?

Unless we demand action, it’s unlikely that this shameful record will change any time soon.
