Reader’s Write: Spend some tax dollars on Middle Neck Road

I wonder how many readers have notices the appalling state of the road surface of Middle Neck Road between Beach Road and Cedar Drive, mainly southbound.

This stretch of road has for considerable period of time has consisted of countless bumps and potholes which poses a major hazard to passing vehicles.

As the villages concerned take in vast sums of money annually in the form of real estate and business taxes (not to mention income from traffic and parking violation fines) is it asking too much to allocate a small portion of this income toward the restoration of this road surfaces?
