Those of us who remember Shirley Temple and her movies will miss that adorable smile. She was more than a child star of the ‘30s but in later years she was a dedicated American who sought to make a difference for the common good. She ended up serving four Republicans presidents in key diplomatic posts.
By her service to our country Shirley Temple demonstrated how she loved America and in return America loved her back. Rest in peace Shirley Temple and thanks for the memories.
