Readers Write: Scaturro says he did not slam Blakeman

Your July 3 article about the 4th Congressional District has the inaccurate title “Scaturro slams Blakeman, Rice,” and its first sentence suggests that I attacked my Republican-Conservative primary opponent, Bruce Blakeman, during our post-primary interview.  That is not true.  With the primary election over, I indicated during the interview that I would not criticize Mr. Blakeman during the general election season.  Your headline is half correct as I did and still do express criticism of Ms. Rice, whose election I would consider a misfortune for all in our district who seek change.
