I find it very disturbing that none of the members of Kate Hirsch’s Liberty Party who are running for trustee have attended a single Flower Hill Board of Trustee meeting. Not in person, not on a very easy to attend web call, nothing. They were all absent during the recent Tropical Storm Isaias, when the current board was out helping neighbors, reporting outages to PSEG and assisting wherever they could.
Why would you trust a group of inexperienced people who just think they can walk into a job without any understanding of current village affairs or other relevant experience? It also speaks volumes for mayoral candidate Kate Hirsch, who would choose to run with these disinterested people.
