Real estate speculators propose to build a 70-unit, five-story apartment complex on Middle Neck Road across from Associated Foods. What benefit is this to our community?
This would be yet another new apartment building which will affect our traffic, our schools, our very way of life.These developers aim to realize a profit of perhaps $40 or $50 million and leave us to wonder what happened to our beautiful suburban community.
To everyone living on this peninsula: your presence alone would tell the Great Neck Estates Board of Trustees they would make a serious mistake if they allow this to happen. Please come to the next meeting Monday, Sept. 9, 2024, at 8 p.m. at Great Neck Estates Village Hall, 4 Gateway Drive, right off of Cedar Drive.
