The questions never asked of Village of Great Neck Plaza deputy mayor. Why are motorists allowed to double park outside Shop Delight?
Why are delivery vehicles allowed to block traffic? There are agreed to delivery hours which are ignored. Pedestrians can’t use the crosswalk intended for them ‘cause vehicles park there. This is not an opinion. This is fact.
The truth is that there are very few summonses written given the obvious and multitude of violations. There has to be a willingness to do so. ( Whatever happened to valet parking ?)
“ Transportation enhancement” sounds nice. Gets the mayor’s picture in the paper. The deputy mayor’s too
I’d settle for better management.
