To my Manorhaven neighbors and friends

I am writing this in response to the article headlined, “Manorhaven incumbents challenged for seats” Sub-headline: “Mayor Avena opposed by Dan Garcia in village election.”

First and foremost you should know that this is not the case.

To the contrary, my support for Mayor Jim Avena remains steadfast and unwavering. My decision to run for village trustee is based upon the many successes of Jim’s tenure and (more importantly) his future vision for the economic soundness of our village.

I have seen how our town, county and state legislators respond to his knowledge and business acumen, and I hope to be a part of our village’s success.
