Readers Write: Enforce mask rules at Parkwood, Steppingstone

People in Great Neck are awfully cavalier about my health and the health of everyone in my somewhat senior community.

The sign, “A simple ask, wear a mask” should have been sufficient but no, people at the Parkwood pool and at Steppingstone do not comply.

The role of the commissioners and the super, Jason Marra, should be to step up enforcement in order to keep the facilities open for people like me.

What we have now is a system where the potentially ill are out and about while the safe and healthy are stuck indoors.

Well, I for one am not going to take it anymore.  I ask everyone who shares my concern to call Parks Super Jason Marra and let him know that the parks are here for the healthy but silenced majority.

Call him, write to him and attend their next zoom meeting.
