If the upcoming presidential election on Nov. 3 were not so serious, it would be downright hilarious just watching the Democrats twist themselves into pretzels in their efforts to project onto President Trump their own lengthy and shameful record of racism.
As Bill Federer of AmericanMinute.com has exhaustively documented:
- In 1857, the Supreme Court, with seven of the nine justices being Democrats, decided that Dred Scott, a black slave, was not a citizen but property.
- After the Civil War, when Republicans enacted the 13th Amendment abolishing slavery in America, southern Democrats reacted by creating the vicious anti-black Jim Crow laws.
- In 1866, Republican Rep. Thaddeus Stevens introduced legislation to give former slaves “40 acres and a mule,” but Democrats opposed it.
This lopsided picture continued unabated through the 19th century and into the 20th century.
- In 1953, Republican President Dwight D. Eisenhower proposed “to use whatever authority exists in the office of the president to end segregation,” but Southern Democrat governors objected.
- In 1964, Democrat senators held the longest filibuster in U.S. history––75 days––to try to prevent the Civil Rights Act from passing. Finally, Democratic President Lyndon B. Johnson persuaded the leaders of his party to support a compromised bill, saying it would have blacks “voting Democratic for the next 200 years.”
- In 1994, as Stephen Frank documents, then-Senator Joe Biden sponsored a Bill that put tens of thousands of black men in prison—and it took 15 years until President Trump was able to get rid of that discriminatory law.
We all know that Democrats lionized their fellow Democrat, West Virginia’s Senator Robert Byrd, who personally filibustered the Civil Rights Bill for 14 hours and 13 minutes on June 10, 1964.
Just 10 years ago Byrd was the Senate’s president pro tempore. He was also a former Ku Klux Klan Exalted Cyclops and Kleagle, the guy who recruited 150 friends to start a KKK chapter, who used the N-word on live television in 2001 and who then-Senator Joe Biden praised lavishly in his eulogy on Byrd’s death in 2010, as did current House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
Not to omit that Biden also eulogized arch segregationist Strom Thurmond (D-SC), and had high praise for proud segregationists U.S. Sens. James Eastland (D-MS) and Herman Talmadge (D-GA), as well as for Gov. George Wallace––“segregation now, segregation tomorrow, segregation forever”––who blocked black students from entering the University of Alabama.
And who can forget Biden’s unforgettable words on hearing of the candidacy of Barack Obama for president: “I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy. I mean, that’s a storybook, man.”
“Bright and clean.” Really.
And yet former VP Biden is the only candidate the Democrats could think of to run for the presidency. Now, they are hoping he makes it across the finish line so the real far-left Democrat powers-that-be can inflict their noxious anti-Americanism, anti-Semitism, and inherent racism––a la Antifa and Black Lives Matter––on our entire country.
Clearly, what is systemic about racism in America can be found in the Democrats’ DNA.

Let me start by saying the Democrat party should have been disbanded after the abolishment of slavery. There involvement with the KKK, black codes, Jim Crow laws, racial terrorism, segregation and other high crimes against humanity are beyond forgivable. In my opinion African Americans voting for Democrats is like Jewish people voting for a newly reformed Nazi party that says they’ve changed their racist ways.
Even despite all the evidence of their past they try to do their best to revise history for the less educated. Now they’re even destroying evidence by toppling confederate statues, which should still stand as monuments to racist democrat history with freshly revised plaques that include, here stands “General Blank”, racist, slave owner, and staunch Democrat.
Most of these answers are laughable, There’s no sugar coating it, LBJ and Truman were both hardcore racists. In fact the “N” word was part of LBJ’s vocabulary and despite Truman’s desegregation of the military, he continued using racial slurs throughout his life and had absolutely no love at all for MLK. Most of the civil rights deeds by these two racists Democrats were most likely used to acquire a much larger black voting base that they desperately needed and other ulterior motives. Do you really think these two had love for black Americans ???
Democrats realized that there deep-rooted racist history would never get the black vote. So they turned to a more subtle form of racism that lies hidden below the surface. They needed a way to return blacks to the new Democrat plantation in the form of the “New Deal” after the depression. The Democrats New Deal was set up for mostly poor whites to give them jobs and financial relief, however blacks didn’t receive anywhere near the same level of relief or treatment. Thus the Democrats culture of dependency begins and continues to this day.
For the past 80 years the Democrats have done mostly nothing for the black community but keep them hooked on the promise of a better future of which they have never have come close to delivering. The left uses a culture of dependency and psychological victimhood, that keeps poor whites and a disproportionately large amount of blacks on on the dependency rolls. Democrats own every war on poverty program of which has never delivered anything but broken promises, food stamps, eternal dependency, poverty, cheese, checks, other entitlement programs, and more continued votes from the ill informed. Even affirmative action, is a fail. I don’t know any Black American that would have any respect for themselves knowing they got the job due to the color of their skin and lack of qualifications. Does that really boost your self esteem and confidence….not !
Democrats own and run every ghetto in America, every inner city for decades. Has Black America changed much to the point that Democrats are deserving of the blacks vote ? I say hell no.
You might say what has the Republicans done to garner the black vote ? The answer is almost nothing, since they barely receive any support from the black community in terms of votes. However, the encouragement of personal responsibility are at the core of Republicans philosophy.
Black Americans and all Americans want opportunity not eternal Democrat hand outs. Jobs, low taxes, less regulation, personal responsibility, and quality unbiased education, breeds opportunity for all.
The Democrats push for more government is not the answer. it only enslaves people to the leftist masters.
The racist left has never changed, they’re just more sophisticated in there efforts. From high schools to universities, the left never stops there assault on young minds.
Had the Democratic party been disbanded years ago, the United States could have made wonderful strides in race relations.
All that being said, there are countless African American across the country who don’t have time to dwell on vicitmhood mentality that many on the left cultivate, these folks are far too busy kicking ass in all aspects of life in the land of “American Privilege”. May the Black community prosper !
