Deputy Mayor Ted Rosen knows how to listen to people. He is accessible and tries to solve their problems. Ted is my neighbor, and when we complained about the noise of gardeners’ leaf blowers, he helped pass restrictions.
I have run an annual poetry contest for the village of Great Neck Plaza for the last ten years. Ted has been a dedicated supporter of this program, as well as another, Poetry in the Plaza, which posts a poem each month on signposts throughout the village as well as in the LIRR waiting room.
Ted is a caring, responsive village official, the kind of person we need in local government.
